Well hello! Been a few weeks since I have posted but that's cause, well, life happened. Daddy Minion threw out his back. Poor guy was bad off. He cuts my quilts for me (yes I am crazy lucky) so he wasn't able to do much of what I needed doing. I did however get to start working on an Irish chain for my daughter using Willow for Riley Blake
 This was at the beginning of laying it out. It quickly got too big for my table. So that has been the only thing I have been working on. But hubby is better now so more will be getting done 😃

Well today, is a quiet day, ok well quiet moment. Mr Minion had one surgery today, one minion is at school the other with her Nonna. I thought I would pop on to share some of the quilts I made earlier this year. I am working on a bunch of projects right now, finishing a commissioned baby quilt and teachers gifts. I will post pics of those as they are done. lately I have been working on my WIP's. As quilters we have way too many of these as we often start a new project long before the last one is even close to completion. I have managed though to finish 2 very large projects that I started months ago. This is my supernova quilt (and my puggle) I had to stand way up my stairs to get this pic as this is a huge queen size quilt. Well here it is 😃 the last day of 2014. Still trying to finish some outstanding projects before the new year begins. Ok ok yeah I did decide on like Dec 27th to make a baby quilt I really didn't need to make just wanted to. I have one more quilt top to finish piecing and some backing to prep but that's it for 2014 then :) This first one is the baby quilt I just had to make. I love it! It features the gorgeous Miss Kate line from Thimble Blossoms by Bonnie and Camille. It's just so happy 😃  This 2nd one I started oh my goodness back in March 2014 I think. It was only missing the borders so I added them and now this quilt top is done 😃 it's for my son I love it! It features the Vintage Verona line  from Riley Blake. So today I finish one more quilt top and then piece the backing for my mom's quilt and then, well, that's a wrap. Everything else will have to wait for 2015. Well hello blog

Well hello Not sure who if anyone will read my blog but here goes. My name is Cheryl I have 2 minions and a loving hubby who allows me to follow my quilting passion. 2 years ago a friend taught me to quilt and I have never looked back. I have at least 10 that I have finished and at least another 12 in some form of being finished :) I really need to post pics and will as soon as I figure out blogger lol
